Only in Los Angeles does the opening of a children's clothing store bring out the celebrities, but that's what happened on Monday night when Jenny Belushi (wife of Jim) and Heather Whitney threw a party to celebrate their new shop, Poppy.
So while Crystal Lourd, Gwen McCaw and Ryan Haddon snacked on cookies and lemonade, Reese Witherspoon traded tot fashion tips with Cindy Crawford.
"Kaia likes the bohemian look," says Crawford, who picked out a blue peasant blouse for her daughter.
"I got the same one for Ava in yellow," said Witherspoon. "She loves to layer."
Meanwhile, Jim Belushi, with daughter Jami in tow, took credit for his contribution to the Brentwood boutique. "I dressed myself," he said. "But my wife made sure my daughter looked cute. Cute is a big word around here. It's all 'That's cute! Oh my gosh, so cute!' I said 'Why don't you name your store Cute?' and she said, 'That's not cute.'"
