Shop of the Moment: Poppy Store

Custom wallpaper, white bookshelves lining dove-gray walls, an antique birdcage with finches, Moroccan silver ottomans. The founders of Poppy Store--Jenny Belushi, a native Angeleno and wife of actor Jim Belushi, created a shopping destination for munchkins that's "nothing short of extraordinary." 

All the big names in grownup fashion are here (Ernest Sewn, Lacoste, Vilebrequin) as well as a kids line made exclusively for the shop by Lucy Sykes. The store's own brand, Poppy Luxe, features such essentials as crispy Italian cottons, hand-knit blankets and cashmere baby swaddle sourced from Nepal, Peru, and California. Here's the best part; If a woman covets one of the pint-size pieces for herself, the store will have it made in her size. Like mother, like daugher.
